Top Five Events for the week of April 16th

Welcome to our Top Five Savannah Events presented by Reneè LaSalle. This week’s top five events kick’s off with Gazing in the Gardens at the Coastal Georgia Botanical Gardens at the Historic Bamboo Farm. The Oglethorpe Astronomical Association will have their telescopes out for everyone to take peeks at stars and best of all the event is FREE and open to the Public.

Event number Four is another kid friendly event at Bull Street Labs. It’s the JER Kidpreneur Children’s Business Fair. They work with the youth by giving them a taste for entrepreneurship early in life. Don’t miss this event from 12pm to 4pm have dinner then go Gazing in the Gardens a fun day with the kidos.

Event Number Three is for Blues Lovers at the Savannah Civic Center. It’s the 6th Annual Savannah Blues Festival. This event being held on April 21st beginning at 7:00 pm features Sir Charles Jones, Tucka, Latimore, Pokey Bear, Clarence Carter and Theodis Ealey.

Event Number Two is another FAMILY Friendly event in Downtown Savannah in Forsyth Park. It’s the Savannah Earth Day Festival. Another great learning experience not just for the kids. This begins at 11 am so maybe consider this the first stop of the day?

Our Number One event is the A-Town Get Down Arts & Music Festival. It’s an interactive and creative all-day experience for all ages with live music, art installations and much more. It’s even FREE for children 12 and under. Once again this event is held on April 21.
