Here are the Top 5 Events in Savannah, for the Week of June 30th! We’re celebrating Independence Day, Christmas in July, and all things wine, women, and shoes. Did someone say wine? I got distracted by the shoes.
#5: The Ronald McDonald House of the Coastal Empire is hosting its annual Wine, Women, and Shoes event. This is a shopping and sipping extravaganza.
The Ronald McDonald House is an invaluable resource for parents who have children being treated for cancer in nearby hospitals. This event is a great way to get out taste some new wines, do a little shopping, and do a lot of good.
#4: We happen to love Christmas. We also love gifts too… just saying. I digress. Christmas in July sounds like a fabulous time to make some Christmas crafts with the kiddos and even take a picture with Santa. Go ahead and take your Christmas card photo early this year! Check out this event hosted by the Children’s Museum of Pooler.
#3: Freedom Fest! We’re talking all things Harley and BBQ. Hello… all things summer! What a way to celebrate Independence Day. Join the folks at Harley Davidson. You may even get to test drive a sweet new ride.
#2: Perhaps your speed is a little slower than a Harley. We have something for you too! How about dinner on the Savannah Riverboat? Sounds pretty relaxing to us! It arrives back at the dock just in time for the fireworks show so you’ll have a front-row spot on river street.
#1: We’re celebrating all things Independence Day! Savannah does not disappoint on the celebratory festivities. We have everything from stars and stripes-themed party at Plant Riverside District to a Freedom Floats boat parade, performers, and of course Fireworks hosted by the Waterfront Association. Downtown is surely the place to be this 4th of July.
