This week there is much to celebrate! We’re celebrating freedom, fathers and food. This week’s events have lots to do with the whole family. We do love seeing locals of all ages out enjoying all that the hostess city has to offer. We hope to see you around town.
#5: Phil the Garden
The Savannah Philharmonic is at it again. They’re bringing music to the whole family with pre-concert activities where the kids can create their own instruments. How cool is that? We just love how they are bringing music appreciation to all ages.
#4: Father’s Day Crawfish Boil
Nothing warms the belly and feeds the soul like a Cajun crawfish boil. We’re celebrating dads, Louisiana style. Get tickets for the whole family and let dad know just how much you love and appreciate him.
#3: Warrior Lift Golf Tournament
The American Legion Post no. 135 is raising funds to keep their downtown facility in tip top condition to serve as a place for veterans, their families and the community to gather and connect. After the golf tournament, be sure and stop by to see the facility on Bull Street. Tell them we said hello.
#2: Eat Your Veggies Day
The Chatham Area transit is celebrating National Eat Your Veggies day and they’ve partnered with the folks at the Forsyth Farmers’ Market program Farm Truck 912. Their mobile farmers’ market is going to be parked in a new location.
#1: Juneteenth Celebrations
This event is so historic and worthy that we gave you two celebrations to choose from, each from our coastal sister cities: Hilton Head Island and Tybee Island.
That’s our Savannah Top Five events for the week of June 15th. If you would like your events considered to be part of a future top five segment, email your event information to theteam@livelikelocals.tv.
We also love to give business an opportunity to promote their events and increase their audience. Visit https://livelikelocals.tv/services/
